The Mimaki UJF-6042 MkII e flatbed UV printer opens a whole new world of customisation potential on a virtually limitless range of materials, substrates and products. These include giftware, branded merchandise, way-finding signage, industrial products and so much more. The device is built to deliver at a mighty pace of 52 A4 sheets per hour, and can print onto items up to 153mm in thickness.
Integrate this clever A2-sized flatbed small UV printer in-line in an automated production workflow, as well as offering the opportunity to print around cylindrical objects with the optional Kebab. The UJF-6042 MkII e uses affordable, yet high quality ink supplied in 1 litre bottles and energy-saving UV-LED technology, to deliver the fastest payback on your investment. To maximise productivity this powerful device ensures that peak print speeds are always maintained, even when using white ink, and a laser gap-sensor prevents downtime, by ensuring the printhead does not touch the media during production.
This customisation powerhouse is designed specifically for integration into industrial robotic production lines. Accordingly. the printer incorporates a Mimaki Device Language command set that conforms to Industry 4.0 requirements.
For further production adaptability, the UJF-6042 MkII e flatbed UV printer offers the optional Kebab unit, that enables 360 degree printing around cylindrical items.
Mimaki’s innovative Kebab HS option offers faster 360-degree printing on cylindrical objects such as bottles and tumblers, and also supports tapered items like glasses and cups.
Boasting three times the print speeds of its predecessor, the Kebab HS option is ideal for mid-volume orders, offering greater efficiency to help deliver bespoke printed bottles and other cylindrical items with shorter lead times.
