For backlit print inspection during production

The UVJ55-320 has a revolutionary built-in LED Mimaki Proofing Panel, a full-width illuminated lightbox positioned behind the media, that enables the operator to live-check backlit graphics during the production run. As a result, it’s possible to check prints ahead of time, and stop jobs instantly if needed, saving time and wasted resources.

Opaque white ink

Mimaki’s white ink enables 3-layer banner and backlit printing for day/night and lights-on/lights-off conditions. Furthermore, a high density print mode ensures optimum block-out performance for front and backlit applications.

Mimaki LUS120 UV ink is Greenguard GOLD certified, and delivers superior adhesion and scratch resistance, along with low running costs. Compatible with a vast range of coated and uncoated substrates, LUS120 ink is supplied in 1 litre bottles, with the option to extend the standard CMYK inkset with light-cyan, magenta and white.
