From Traditional Roots to Modern Innovation
Founded in 1990 by Kate Brenton, Printing Crazy began life as a screen printing business, supplying custom clothing for clubs and local businesses. Based in Southampton, the family-run company built its reputation on quality and service.
In 2002, Matthew Douglass joined the business, and together they began to modernise, introducing new techniques and embracing digital print technology to expand their capabilities.
Today, Printing Crazy offers a full suite of garment decoration services, including Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing, embroidery, and heat transfer vinyl. Their clients range from independent local businesses to high-end superyacht clothing brands, all demanding exceptional quality and fast turnaround.
Looking to streamline production and raise the bar on print quality, the team invested in Mimaki’s DTF technology, starting with the TxF150-75, and quickly adding the TxF300-75 to meet growing demand, both purchased from Mimaki’s authorised reseller partner Printmax. The result has been a significant boost in efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
