It fuses the proven high‑speed architecture of the Tiger600 platform with a new water‑based pigment ink (AP50), delivering vibrant, durable output with instant drying, making it an ideal alternative to conventional offset, UV or latex printing
Built for continuous operation, the system features a smart one‑side feed and take-up mechanism for smooth media handling and a compact footprint; ideal for print houses targeting high‑volume poster and display jobs without sacrificing floor space.
The Tiger600‑1800TS delivers production speeds up to 220 m²/h enabling rapid turnaround even for large poster runs. A one‑side feed/take‑up configuration ensures efficient media loading and workflow, keeping operations smooth and downtime minimal.
Its compact build and media handling design make it suitable for busy print production houses where space and throughput matter, making it a practical solution for scaling up poster production without overly expanding your footprint.
Leveraging Mimaki’s AP50 water‑based pigment ink, the Tiger600-1800TS produces rich, natural colours that stand out on coated photo and poster papers making it perfect for campaign posters, city‑light displays, blue‑back posters, photo enlargements and other commercial graphic work.
AP50 is formulated for coated media and delivers instant‑dry prints suitable for indoor or short‑term outdoor use offering an environmentally friendlier alternative to solvent, UV or latex inks while preserving vibrant, durable visual quality.
Thanks to Mimaki’s core technologies, including MAPS (Mimaki Advanced Pass System), NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), Head‑Select and the Mini‑Jumbo media roll system, the Tiger600‑1800TS delivers crisp text, even solids and smooth tonal gradations akin to offset printing, while retaining the flexibility and speed of digital production.
The Mini‑Jumbo unit supports media rolls up to 300kg and 600mm diameter, enabling long print runs without frequent roll changes, reducing labour, downtime and overall per‑poster cost.
Combined with recyclable, paper‑based media and a solvent‑free ink system, the Tiger600‑1800TS supports sustainable, efficient production workflows.
