An example of multiple Mimaki DTF printed applications

Direct to Film Printer

Use Mimaki’s direct to film printer range eliminates the need for fabric selection, screen making, pre-treatment and film weeding. Increase productivity, save time and minimise wastage with Mimaki’s DTF printer solutions.

A direct to film printer can be used to print onto a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, polyester and blends and is capable of printing onto dark and coloured materials thanks to Mimaki’s dense, bright white ink. By printing directly to a special film, then sprinkling with hot-melt power which is then heated and dried to form a transferable ink layer, this is then heat-pressed and transferred directly to the fabric, such as a t-short, hoody or other garment,

Mimaki’s proven Core Technologies ensure consistent and stable operation, with high quality output achievable by any operator. With multiple options available depending on volume and production requirement, Mimaki’s DTF solutions deliver at every level.
