Reads Get It Right

Leading Irish print provider Reads Design, Print & Display has recently upped their productivity with an investment in a new Mimaki CJV30 Series printer / cutter.

Installed in their flagship Dublin branch, the new outdoor durable Mimaki increases their output capability, whilst maintaining the quality that company is synonymous with.

Purchased through authorised Mimaki reseller, Complete Digital, the new machine is able to produce a myriad of jobs from variable data stickers and labels, through canvas prints to wide format, high quality photographic output for use as vehicle livery, posters or outdoor durable signage.

Although Reads is very price conscious in their product range, it is not at the expense of ultimate quality, so their investment met strict criteria. Complete Digital’s demonstration suite provided them the ideal opportunity to thoroughly trial the machine ensuring their faith in the new Mimaki was well placed. Established for over 25 years, Reads’ Dublin centre is the largest of its kind in Europe and expanding their capabilities with the printer is key to ensuring they remain true to their motto – ‘Professionalism at the Right Price.”

Director at Reads, Gary O’Reilly, outlines his plans for the new machine. “With our investment in the new Mimaki, Reads can now deliver practically any print job for our customers, with a quick turnaround and at the high quality that our company is renowned for. The breadth of applications we can produce with the new machine played a vital part in our purchase decision and we look forward to having our customers really take advantage of the Mimaki over the coming months.”

Mimaki CJV30 printer / cutters similar to Reads’ machine are available in four widths ranging from 60cm right through to 1.6m and deliver a multi-award winning combination of high print quality, broad range of ink types (including white and soon to be released metallic) and excellent productivity with its unattended print and cut capabilities.

Hybrid’s general manager for Ireland, Dave Rainsford, welcomed Reads investment, commenting; “We’re delighted to see Reads becoming a Mimaki house, and look forward to closely supporting them in getting the very best out of their new CJV30 alongside our reseller, Complete Digital.”
