    Role Description

    This is a full-time Field Services Engineer role with Hybrid Services based in Scotland / North of England.

    As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning and repairing large format inkjet printers in Scotland and the North of England. The role involves troubleshooting, providing technical support, conducting preventive maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service for Mimaki’s products. In addition, you will be required to provide customer training on the safe use and operation of Mimaki products as well as installing and training of accompanying software.

    The role involves working closely with clients to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of Mimaki printing, cutting, and software technologies. You will be required to travel around the UK and Ireland and there will be occasions when you will need to stay away overnight. You will also be required to travel to Amsterdam (Netherlands) for training as required.

    Applicant Attributes

    • Field Service and Technical Support skills
    • A valid, full UK Driving License
    • Ability to work alone and as part of a Team
    • Have a positive and proactive approach to work and be a company and client oriented team player
    • High level of computer literacy
    • Troubleshooting and fault finding in electro-mechanical equipment experience and expertise
    • Strong customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of Mimaki products is an advantage, and experience of service and repair of large format digital printers is an advantage
    • Relevant technical certifications or qualifications are desirable
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Legally able to work in the UK and Ireland
